The House Mouse is gray and it weighs one half to one ounce. The body is 3 to 4 inches in length and the tail is 3 inches in length. The ears are large and the muzzle is pointed. Adult droppings are 1/8- to 1/4- inch long and rod -shaped. The female house mouse reaches sexual maturity in 35 days and averages eight liters per year, each liter averages six young. Mice are great climbers, they can jump 12 inches high. A House Mouse can easily squeeze through holes and gaps wider than 1/4 inch.
